Bally showcased the innovative one-off ready-to-wear designs during London Fashion Week from its latest collaboration with students from the Central Saint Martins MA Fashion course at a special presentation at The Savoy Hotel on February 21, 2012. Continue reading →
Students were asked to create a singular piece for men and another for women, both of which will be on display at The Savoy.
This is the third project from this successful partnership and follows the innovative men’s shoe collection created in 2011 and the women’s shoe project of 2010.
Unlike previous years, the focus of this latest collaboration was to allow the students to gain invaluable insights into the operations of a large fashion company rather than form an entire collection.
It was a unique opportunity for MA Fashion course students Alice Bastin and Mei Lim Cooper to work alongside Bally’s Creative Directors Graeme Fidler and Michael Herz and experience first-hand the highly involved process of producing luxury men’s and women’s wear.
